There is much misinformation about The Shariah through out the world. Both Non-Muslims and Muslims have tremendous ignorance about The Shariah.
Where should The Shariah be implemented? The Shariah should only be implemented in Muslim countries. The Shariah is a part of The Islamic Faith. Any leader of any Muslim country who does not implement the Shariah completely is accountable in front of Allah. In Islam, leadership is a trust from Allah-not a right!
What about Non-Muslim countries? It is clear-in The Qur'an,itself, that Shariah should only be implemented in Muslim countries. Shariah is a part of Islam. Therefore to impose Shariah in a Non-Muslim country would be, in fact, imposing The Islamic Faith on Non-Muslims. Such a thing would be making the Islamic Faith compulsory for Non-Muslims. Allah says in The Qur'an, "La ikraaha fee deen" (There is no compulsion in religion).
There is much disagreement amongst Muslims about The Shariah. What is lawful and what is forbidden? What is obligatory, and what is not obligatory? Until there is a common criterion in which to answer these questions there will continue to be divisions amongst Muslims.
The purpose of this blog is to promote The Shariah. Such a purpose includes-through necessity- promoting a common criterion for deciding these questions. This criterion is not from me, but from Allah and His Messenger through ayat in The Qur'an and hadeeth from Prophet Muhammad.
